"Tricolor" Gyumri Run is dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.
The run will kick off on September 20 from Vardanants Square in Gyumri.
The goal of the "Tricolor" Gyumri Run is to promote mass sports and a healthy lifestyle, to appreciate and popularize the state holidays and symbols of the Republic of Armenia, as well as to develop regional tourism by introducing the participants to the historical and cultural heritage of Gyumri.
The run carries an important social and charitable mission. In partnership with the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR), a portion of the proceeds collected will be directed towards supporting physiotherapy for children with disabilities in Gyumri.
As an important tourism component of the event, special conditions will be available for participants and guests from September 19 to 21:
Transportation: Special ggShuttles will operate to Gyumri and back for just 1,700 AMD per way.
Accommodation: From September 19 to 21, a number of hotels and guesthouses in Gyumri will offer special discounts and exclusive deals for the participants of the run.
The running route will pass through the most beautiful streets of the historical center of Gyumri.
